Tuning your accordions, melodeons and concertinas
We have been tuning free reed instruments for over 25 years! Rob Beecroft is a well respected 2nd generation accordion, melodeon and concertina tuner. Rob perfected his craft by learning from renowned Italian tuners in Castlefidardo. Using traditional techniques and state of the art electronic tuners, we tune to factory standards.
Midi and microphone fittings
We fit midis and microphones in our workshop.
How much will it cost, and how long will it take?
Repairing and tuning free reed instruments is labour intensive and takes time to finish to a high standard. Full restoration of an accordion can involve over 60 hours work.
Our experts will always provide a free estimate of the cost and length of time it will take to repair or tune your instrument, and can often give an indication over the phone. Of course, a more accurate quote will be agreed with you when they have inspected the instrument.
We endeavour to repair and tune your instruments as quickly as possible. Our workshop is a busy place; if we can help you immediately then we will, however some repairs and tunings can take a little while – we’ll always let you know how long we think it will take us.
