An electronic system is available although not needed and can be played as an acoustic accordion.

Like most accordions from this period they were constructed with very expensive reeds with an excellent musette for French and Scottish music. Smooth registers and a comfortable key board makes an enjoyable instrument. This instrument can be played electronically and a power pack is available which has a control unit and is fully intact or it can be played as an acoustic instrument. It does have the advantage for a midi conversion for an extra £800.

The Alessandrini which we are selling is pre-owned and has undergone a full extensive refurbishment all reeds on the bass treble and cassotto have been cleaned, re-set in reed blocks with new valves and wax and fully tuned to a high standard.

It is concert tuned making the instrument perfect for classical music jazz, folk, balkan and Eastern European music. the double cassotto reed chambers make the instrument have a darker but warm rich and smooth tone in the middle and low registers.

A rare opportunity to buy A 1950´s accordion with a unique treble register design of a mini keyboard, the accordion has been fully refurbished all reeds cleaned new valves added and reset with new wax and fully tuned on bass and treble. The felts have been re-felted giving a smooth silent keyboard, compression is excellent and the sound is bright, with the added bonus of single cassotto giving a warmth depth to the sound of the treble. a good strong solid bass and good projection. The tuning is dry 0-2 cents perfect for classical music, jazz, folk and balkan music. Plus a chance to have a vintage collectors item which is under guarantee and all the work carried out already.

The cooperativa factory was founded in 1912 as a worker cooperative hence cooperativa, located in the province of Pavia in the Lombardy region. It became one of the earliest and most important accordion producers in Stradella. Stradella is actually where the Stradella bass system was developed and founded. The town came a major accordion making centre alongside castlefidardo. So the Cooperativa LÁrmonica began in Stradella Northern Italy from 1912 and operated there until the 1970´s.

In Castelfidardo the Paolo Soprani factory started making accordions in1863 and their workshops are regarded as some of the first Italian accordion manufacturing business in the Town, and later a production facility in 1908 called the historic Palazzo Paolo Soprani where the paolo Soprani brothers carried out serial production so you are truly getting a piece of history with the added bonus of modern technology being midi´d it can be played via amplification of a speaker or played acoustically (without midi) It has been fully serviced and tuned and comes with a three year guarantee.
